Director of Sales

Location: Pune

Job Description

This role involves strategizing and implementing sales processes, training and development programs, and performance measurement systems that align with our company’s vision and mission. He is also tasked with building and scaling sales operations to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market presence.

Must-Have Qualifications & Aptitude

● Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce or related field. An advanced
degree (e.g. MBA) is preferred.
● 7+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, sales effectiveness in the
technology services field.
● Must Have Experience in Outbound Lead generation (LinkedIn Digital).
● Can Manage Alliances and Partnership with clients and Stakeholders.
● Able to manage and Maintain revenue pipeline and forecast.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong
relationships with team members, clients, and partners.
● Should be able to deeply analyze existing customer accounts to uncover hidden
opportunities, needs, or potential for upselling and cross-selling. (Account
Mining)
● Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and the ability to align
sales strategies with client product goals.

Good-to-Have Qualifications & Aptitude

● Experience working with CRM software and sales performance tools
● Familiarity with the US, UK, and Indian markets, with a network of potential leads and
partners.
● Experience with inside sales, sales ops/sales effectiveness functions
● Training in sales methodologies and leadership development.

Responsibilities

● Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s
vision and mission, focusing on market expansion and revenue growth.
● Oversee the sales process to ensure it is efficient and effective, incorporating best
practices and innovative tools where applicable.
● Build and develop a sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and
knowledge to achieve their targets.
● Regularly report on sales activities and progress towards company goals to the
Board.
